A&M Adventures

Welcome to A&M Adventures of New Mexico!  We are a full time and full service outfitter offering prime hunting country with quality hunts on a 125,000+ acre ranch is located in Unit 58 of the Northeast corner of New Mexico, near the Colorado border.

About Us...

Hello.  My name is Monte Adams and I am the owner of A&M Adventures of New Mexico.  I grew up on the Cross L ranch and I have explored just about every inch of the 125,00 acres you'll be hunting.  I know where the game you are looking for is located, and I know where it is not!  I require my guides to know this property and all of them do know it since they have been with me for several years and the vast majority of them grew up in this area.  The property here is managed for World Class Elk and has produced many Trophy Bulls in the 350+ class.

This ranch, nestled in the Dry Cimmaron River Valley, is flanked on either side by rock canyons, sandstone rim rocks and volcanic peaks and  is a home to Elk, Mule Deer, Antelope, and the Merriam's Turkey.

Most of the terrain is accessible by 4 wheel drive vehicles, which enables hunting off the rim rocks. Hunts are designed for the specific needs of the individual hunter when at all possible. I cater to small parties and offer several different hunting packages to ensure a pleasurable hunt for everyone.

As I already mentioned, we are a full service outfitter and we offer all the amenities you would expect in our comfortable full service-hunting lodge, which consists of 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, a kitchen, and a living room. All bedding, towels, and meals are provided for you, but you'll need to provide your own personal items.

All of our hunts include private land permits. These tags are guaranteed and there is no state drawing to apply for. Most of our hunts are spot and stalk. We try to tailor hunts to the individual hunter and we cater to small hunting parties. We seldom allow more than 5 hunters on any one hunt which greatly increases your chances for a successful hunt. Our experienced guides are local residents, most of who grew up in this area. This is an added advantage as guides are familiar with the country and assist in year round scouting.

Perhaps you are not a hunter or maybe you prefer to hunt with your camera. We also offer Photo Tours of 125,000 acres for your journalistic pleasure. You are almost assured of seeing enough game to fill several rolls of film.

Choose A&M Adventures for your next hunt.  You won't be disappointed!
